Kerrfest Announces Lineup Change.
Due to an unfortunate situation that has taken place, Freedom Train will not be able to perform at Kerrfest on Saturday September 12. We look forward to having them perform on stage in the future.
The Spoons have agreed to fill the Saturday September 12 time slot and play from 5:45 to 7:00 PM. The band is best known for classic 1980s hits such as “Nova Heart”, “Romantic Traffic”, “Tell No Lies”, and “Old Emotions”. The Toronto subway-shot music video for “Romantic Traffic” remains one of the most recognizable Canadian music videos of all time.
Acclaim & Influence: The Chart Magazine named Arias & Symphonies one of the “20 Most Influential Albums of the 1980s”. They spent the decade touring with massive international acts like The Police, Simple Minds, and Culture Club.
Still Going Strong: Unlike many retro acts, Spoons never permanently stopped making music. They released their album New Day New World in 2019 and continue to actively tour and perform across Canada.
We are grateful that they were available and have agreed to return to the Kerrfest Stage.
